Procedure for of check-in and living in the observatory hostel for foreign students

For the entry of foreign students and check-in at the hostel, it is necessary:

1. Pass the PCR test for COVID-19 in own country with a limitation period of no more than 72 hours before the date of crossing the border;

2. Pass the PCR test for COVID-19 within 3 days after crossing the border of the Russian Federation;

3. Submit the results of two tests to the University.

A foreign student crossed the border of the Russian Federation must observe self-isolation in the observatory within 3 days.

List of documents required to be checked-in into the hostel:

To be checked-in into the student hostel, foreign students need:

1. Passport Copy (2 pages);

2. Photo 3 * 4 (as for passport);

3. Medical documents:

 A copy of the certificate of the form 086/у;

 RW result analysis;

 COVID-19 result by PCR;

 Chest X-ray;

 Medical Insurance issued on the territory of the Russian РФ.

All of the above documents must be in Russian or English.

Organization of the educational process in conditions of persisting risks of the spread of Covid-19 for foreign students

If a foreign student is outside the Russian Federation, the educational process is implemented using distance educational technologies. SSU Orders:

No. 108 dated 05.02.2021 - higher education;

No. 109 dated 05.02.2021 - secondary professional education.

In case of return to Russia to continue studies, foreign students are allowed to the educational process:

having the medical document (in Russian or English) confirming the negative laboratory examination result on COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction method (PCR), done not earlier than three calendar days before arrival into the Russian Federation and negative results of laboratory examination on COVID-19 by PCR, made within three calendar days from the date of arrival in the Russian Federation.

Until getting the results of laboratory tests for COVID-19 by the PCR method, after arrival into the Russian Federation, a self-isolation regime is observed. During the period of self-isolation, the educational process is carried out using distance educational technologies.
